The unfortunate patient had suffered a facial fracture after falling and had to undergo a horrible-looking forced duction.
The video shows the surgeon using medical implements to drag the man's eyeball around its socket.
The procedure was completed by maxillofacial surgeon Raiza Ramos, 27, at the Regional Hospital of Cotia in Brazil.
Raiza said: "The video is a forced duction. We had to test the sharpness of the patient's vision and observe if there was any muscular incarceration.
