Man dies in street in freak accident as stray bullet falls from sky and hits him in head

A man has reportedly been killed in a freak accident after a stray bullet fell from the sky and hit him in the head.



In grainy CCTV footage, the man can be seen walking over to a car and bending down to chat to the person inside through the window.



But within seconds something falls from the sky, landing on the top of his head, and he collapses to the road where he lies motionless.



Panic ensues as the man’s horrified pal rushes to his aid and a crowd of people run over to help.



A group of men pick up the victim’s lifeless body and try to bundle it into his friend’s car, presumably so they can drive him to get medical attention.



But it’s too late.



According to local reports the man died.



The footage was reportedly filmed in Iraq, where it is common practice to fire shots up into the air as a sign of celebration.
