A Russian submarine fired off cruise missiles which struck jihadi targets almost 200 miles away in Syria.
Newly-released footage shows weapons being blasted from the Veliky Novgorod vessel in the Mediterranean Sea on Friday.
Missiles are seen being launched high into the air from the submarine before buildings in Idlib, Syria, are obliterated.
Russian defence chiefs said the offensive was launched in response to an attack by jihadists on government-held swathes of northwest Syria.
Command centres, armoured vehicles and jihadi training centres were struck from a distance of 300km away (186 miles), defence chiefs said.
