A convicted sex offender was ran off the road as he led police through streets on a dramatic high-speed chase.
Dramatic footage released by Marion County Sheriff's Office shows the moment Todd Marchesano, 48, lost control of his minivan as he raced from pursuing officers in Ocala, Florida on Thursday.
Aerial footage shows the grey-coloured van veer across the carriageway on the opposite lanes of traffic before it crashes and flips onto its side before armed officers approach the mangled vehicle.
Dashcam video taken before the dramatic chase comes to a halt captured Marchesano running through red lights as he is pursued.
Police said Marchesano, a wanted sex offender, was treated for minor injuries before he was arrested and taken to Marion County Jail.
