Terrifying footage has captured the moment two thugs battered a motorist with metal poles during a vicious carjacking attack.
Masked men were caught on camera preying on the victim before launching the terrifying assault in an attempt to steal the keys to his blue BMW.
Captured on CCTV, two men gang up on the 43-year-old and beat him with weapons in broad daylight.
But despite being pushed to the floor and hit over the head, the car owner fights off the crooks - refusing to simply hand over the keys to his vehicle.
He is then seen sarcastically waving to the suspects at they flee the scene in a Golf on Friday in Shirley, Birmingham at around 3.30pm.
