An elderly woman was floored by a shoplifter fleeing from a shop in a shocking moment captured on CCTV.
The 82-year-old is seen being pushed to the ground by thief Mark Danville in Heron foods, Hull.
The victim banged her head on a food cabinet and suffered a broken finger.
She lost her mobility and independence as she was told to keep her arm in a sling and not move her bandaged finger for six weeks, a court heard.
The victim was also too scared to make a complaint, fearing he may "find her and seek revenge", Hull Crown Court was told.
A judge said he believed Danville "deliberately" pushed her in the incident on September 8, the Hull Daily Mail reports.
