CCTV shows moment a woman is mowed down by reversing car

Shocking footage shows the moment a hit-and-run driver reverses over a woman in a packed street before speeding off.



The 20-year-old victim was crossing the road when she was mown down by a silver car, sending her hurtling several feet into the air. The horrific incident was captured on CCTV outside a Co-Op shop in Briton Street, Leicester at 4.30pm last Tuesday (31/10).



Footage released by Leicestershire Police show the moment the two men in the car initially got out to check on the woman before getting back in and speeding away.
