This is the chilling moment an armed robber pulled out a gun and shot a student who as he ran away after he refused to hand over cash.
Horrified onlookers rushed to the aid of the injured 19-year-old fearing he was dead or dying.
But amazingly the blood-soaked teenager was later filmed on his feet before being taken to hospital for an emergency operation.
The teenage robber - named locally as Joao Marcelo Moraes de Souza, 18, - is now facing an attempted murder charge.
