Dramatic video has captured a bright mystery object flashing across the sky at Heathrow Airport seconds before a plane came into land.
Extraordinary footage shows the fast-moving bright object dart above houses near the airport before appearing to burn up in the atmosphere.
Just seconds later a huge jet is seen preparing to land at the hub.
Aviation website Airlive shared footage of the incident which it said was captured on its live camera feed at Heathrow.
The website described the illuminating bulk as a shooting star but a social media user argued it was more likely to be a meteorite.
