A burglary suspect managed to wedge himself in a kitchen window while trying to get into a family home.
Wearing a grey-coloured bath robe the man got stuck half way in as he wiggled around in front of the family's CCTV camera.
He managed to grab a chair while just his torso was inside, before squeezing himself into the kitchen and using the sink for leverage.
Police are now asking for help to identify the man, after the bizarre break in, during the early hours of Saturday morning.
He can be seen wearing the bathrobe, flip flops and shorts.
The footage was posted Monday by the Ramapo Police Department in Suffern, New York in a bid to trace the man responsible.
Details of what was taken during the burglary have not been released.
Just yesterday Mirror Online reported on the terrifying moment a burglary discovered a 13-year-old girl hiding in a wardrobe.
The teen was on the phone to police when she came face-to-face with the man who had broken in to her home.
She screamed and hit him, while he shouted and grabbed her arm, all of which was recorded on the home CCTV system.
