This is the dramatic moment a have-a-go-hero shopkeeper caught a brazen thief as he tried to steal charity donations and pinned him against a wall until police arrived.
Ajit Atwal, 47, leapt into action when he noticed Roland Berzovskis, 42, making off with the jar of small change on October 23.
The 6ft 2in bodybuilder used all of his 18 stone frame to bravely detain the shameless crook as he tried to flee the scene.
CCTV footage shows Berzovskis entering Atwal's Garage in Normanton, Derby at 1.19pm.
After approaching the front counter, he slyly swipes the jar - which contained around £20 for local charities - before leaving the shop.
