This is the moment vigilantes tied up and battered a man suspected of kidnapping a seven-year-old boy when his mother turned her back for a few seconds.
MirrorOnline reported yesterday on the emergence of previous footage which showed the moment young Dev Padaliya was snatched by a gang in India after a man came to house claiming he wanted to see his uncle.
Today it emerged that one of the suspected kidnappers, Sunny Devnani, was tied to an iron pole and thrashed by villagers after the young boy was recognised 20 miles from his home, according to local reports.
He was beaten and surrounded by the mob as punishment.
After the public beating, Devnani was later handed over to police.
