Mystery surrounds the disappearance of a 26-year-old woman who vanished shortly after posting a Facebook Live video from inside a stranger's car.
Shortly after recording the sinister video, Jessica Lynn Andress, 26, called 911 and told police: “We were robbed; my clothes, my money, my phone,”
The video appears to have been shot from the passenger seat of a car and pans round to the driver, a heavily bearded man in a red top.
The 90-second clip shows the car travelling along an unknown motorway in the dark.
Jessica left her home in Michigan on Thursday morning, intending to catch a bus to Detroit to meet a man she had been speaking to online.
She was reported missing by her father James, when she did not return the next day as planned.
At this stage it is not clear if the driver shown in the video is the man she intended to meet.
Shortly after posting the video, Jessica called 911 from the Wake Forest Baptist Trauma Centre in North Carolina, more than 600 miles from Detroit.
She has not been heard from since the call.
Posting on Facebook, Jessica's uncle, Larry McQuiston, called for help in tracking down the missing 26-year-old.
He wrote: “We need to identify who the man in the video is and possibly where she is.
“She is believed to be in danger.”
