WARNING DISTRESSING CONTENT: Sandra Lopez Fuster tried to side-step and guess which way the car would go, as she walked home from working overnight
A woman desperately tried to escape an out-of-control car as it left the road and then smashed into her - on Christmas Day.
Victim Sandra Lopez Fuster tried to side-step and guess which way it would go, but was unable to get out of the way during the horrifying smash just before 7am on Christmas morning.
She was sent somersaulting in the Peruvian capital city of Lima, as the car veered across a double carriageway.
Footage shows the car knocking down trees in the central reservation, onto the wrong side of the road and onto the pavement.
Police breathalysed the man they initially thought was the driver and tests revealed that he had not been drinking.
