A world record attempt for drifting a car has revealed how drivers could be able to never visit petrol stations again.
A test driver set a world record by drifting a BMW a staggering 232 MILES - with a support team refueling his car like a fighter jet.
Johan Schwartz drove the M5 super-saloon sideways for eight solid hours, covering the equivalent distance of London to Birmingham and back.
The BMW instructor had previous set a record of 51.3 miles in 2013 but this was beaten by Toyota in 2014 and 2017 with distances of 89.5 miles and 102.5 miles.
