Terrifying Californian flash flood sees homeowner chased down street before home is filled with mud

A man was chased back into his house in terrifying footage as flash flooding hit his neighbourhood in California.



Marco Farrell captured video of the moment the water arrived, that eventually filled his home with around three feet of mud.



He says he was woken up by the heaviest rain he had ever heard.



As he stood as his front door, Marco shouted at a driver to turn round as the water came chasing down his road.



He can be heard shouting: "Oh my God, mum!" before rushing back towards his house and locking the door.
