A student has revealed how she escaped a kidnap and rape ordeal by sharing her GPS location on her iPhone.
Jaila Gladden, 21, was abducted at knife-point by a man who stalked her in a supermarket car park late at night.
Chilling CCTV footage reveals how Timothy Wilson, 28, forced her into her own car as a shopper walked by just metres away.
He then drove her car to behind an abandoned church and raped her.
Jaila, who waived her right to anonymity in an interview with BuzzFeed , told how she pleaded for him to stop but there was "no purpose in crying."
Wilson has been charged with kidnapping, hijacking a motor vehicle, aggravated assault, rape, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment, and aggravated assault against a police officer.
But the harrowing incident in Atlanta, Georgia, could have had an even more sinister ending if it hadn't been for Jaila's incredible bravery and quick-thinking.
