This is the moment a brave police officer managed to arrest a suspect with the help of a hero taxi driver after being confronted by a gunman while responding to a routine burglary call.
Incredible footage taken on a body camera shows PC Jemma Follows with her taser drawn as the teenager appears in the hallway of the house in Stourbridge, West Midlands, holding the firearm, on the evening of November 18.
The officer quickly withdraws as the teenager flees carrying the BB gun designed to look like a 9mm semi-automatic pistol, but PC Follows, 29, jumped into a taxi in a bid to track down the gunman and the other suspect involved.
The teenager gunman, Reece Lones, was arrested two hours later after being spotted by firearms officers on Stourbridge High Street in front of Saturday night revellers.
Lones was jailed for two years and three months after admitting possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, on January 16, at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
