Dramatic CCTV of the moment a removals van ploughed into a group of innocent Muslim worshippers in the street has been shown to a jury.
Unemployed dad-of-four Darren Osborne, 48, was allegedly behind the wheel when the white Luton van slammed into the victims as they gathered to help a man who had collapsed on the way home from prayers.
Makram Ali, 51, died after being run over while nine others were injured.
The short clip showed Mr Ali fall to the floor only to be surrounded by friends and others who were on the street late at night.
Without warning, the van swerved off the road and through the crowd, dragging Mr Ali along under its wheels.
Other CCTV stills showed to jurors allegedly show Osborne hiring the van in Pontyclun, Wales, before sitting down to write a letter in a pub in Cardiff.
