South Korean police staged a mock siege to carry out security drills ahead of the upcoming Pyeongchang Winter Olympics .
Around 1,600 people - including police officials and game organisers - came to watch the display which demonstrated the security team is ready for any possible attacks.
The ceremony saw the police SWAT team rappelling down from the ceiling as well as pointing and shooting rifles.
And actors wearing hi-vis vests were used as "attackers" threatening people with a gun and taking them hostage.
The drill comes amid massive tensions in the region between America and North Korea.
