A mum helplessly watched a live-stream of burglars smashing their way into her home as her son cowered in a wardrobe.
The youngster was home alone in Florida when a silver sedan pulled up outside, and two men knocked on the door.
The boy looked through the peephole but not recognising the pair, he did not open the door.
The men then went around the back of the house and smashed a sliding glass door to gain entry into the house.
The boy rushed upstairs and locked himself inside a wardrobe where he dialled 911 "in fear for his safety", a Pembroke Pines Police Department statement said.
