Terrifying footage shows a train showering a platform with sparks, moments before a derailment that left three passengers dead.
Released by Italian police, the clip shows the carriages rapidly passing through Pioltello Limito station in Milan before the tragic incident on Thursday.
At least three people were killed and 13 seriously injured when the train carrying around 250 people along a busy commuter route derailed in northern Italy, regional authorities said.
Several carriages of the train operated by Trenord derailed around 7am (6am GMT) close to the station, some 13 miles outside Milan, Italian state-owned rail company Ferrovie dello Stato said.
