Vegan activists left steakhouse diners 'very emotionally upset' after storming a busy restaurant to stage an anti-meat rally.
Dozens of protesters, some armed with pro-animal placards and megaphones, chanted: "it's not food, it's violence", after invading Rare Steakhouse in Melbourne.
Diners were seen embarrassed as they were surrounded by demonstrators, though some were said to be 'very emotionally upset' as a result.
The protest was staged at around 6.30pm on Saturday by campaigners from the 'Melbourne Cow Save Animal Liberation Army' and 'Direct Action Everywhere'.
