Horrific moment father throws his two sons out of burning sixth floor flat in desperate bid to escape inferno

A desperate father threw his two young sons out of the window of their burning sixth floor flat in a frantic attempt to save them.



The trapped family were forced to jump out of their home as the inferno ripped through the building



After he had freed his two small sons, the father tragically leapt to his own death.



The boys were believed to be alive but are fighting for their lives in hospital.



One tiny child was reported to have been caught - and saved - by men standing below.



The tragic man’s wife also died when she jumped, crashing onto the roof of a supermarket below.



The horror followed a gas explosion in an apartment block in Krasnogorsk which led to a raging fire.



Giant flames and swirling black smoke is seen on videos which show how the family jumped.



A woman had rushed onto a balcony screaming that children were in the stricken flat, said eyewitnesses.



The father Anvar, 47, grabbed his two sons Bekzod, 12, and Asakhbek, three, and threw them over the balcony, say reports.



He then jumped himself, and died on the way to the hospital.



The children, suffering from burns and serious injuries, were in intensive care.



The mother of the children Muslima, 47, and their grandmother also jumped.



Muslima crashed to her death, smashing through the roof of a supermarket.



Her mother survived, but is in grave condition in hospital.



Another child, aged around six, was found dead in the flat.



Later reports suggested that the older son had died of his injuries in hospital.
