Broward Sheriff’s deputies were called to school shooter Nikolas Cruz's family home 39 times since 2010, according to documents obtained Thursday by CNN.
The sheriff’s office received a range of emergency calls that included: “mentally ill person,” “child/elderly abuse,” “domestic disturbance,” “missing person,” and several others.
Details of those calls were not immediately available; most of them are marked “no written report.”
The home on 80th Terrace in Parkland, Florida was sold by the Cruz family in January 2017, according to property records. The shooter’s mother, Lynda Cruz, died in November 2017.
