A prolific burglar has been locked up - after breaking into the home of a CCTV engineer.
Darren Gaylor, 43, was recorded climbing through the top window of a home in Estover, Plymouth.
The drug addict has now been jailed for three-and-a-half years at Plymouth Crown Court for the burglary and two new break-ins after he relapsed using heroin.
Judge Ian Lawrie told him: “All the efforts in the world do not appear to be help you when you lapse into drugs use.”
Gaylor, of Linketty Lane West, Hartley, pleaded guilty to burgling the home on December 11 last year, reports the Plymouth Herald .
