An "explosion" at an electricity substation has left over 22,00 homes in the North East of England without any power.
Thousands of homes on Teesside are without power this evening after the incident at a substation in Saltburn.
Dramatic footage shows sparks, smoke and flames coming from the station.
The fire is thought to have started at around 6.30pm on Monday.
Fire crews worked quickly to tackle the blaze, which was out by 7.30pm.
However the brigade remained at the scene while engineers from Northern Powergrid also attended.
