This is the sickening moment a dad of a bride-to-be was knocked unconscious after he was punched while trying to break up a mass brawl on a stag do.
The 58-year-old, only known as Gary, suffered serious injuries when his head hit the ground after he was punched on a night out in Manchester on Saturday, February 10.
Detectives say Gary, from Somerset, and his friends were trying to break up a fight, which involved around 15 people.
Gary remains in hospital in a serious condition almost a month after the assault.
The family have put the wedding on hold until he recovers and can walk his daughter down the aisle, reports the Manchester Evening News.
