A knifeman whop was in an armed stand-off with police was taken out by a member of the public hidden behind him.
Dramatic footage of the scary encounter shows the knifeman holding a terrified hostage by the collar, threatening him with his long blade.
The man had been jumping on and punching cars before that in the city of Rostovi in Russia, according to local media.
