Suspected ISIS recruiters and couriers were arrested by Russian secret service agents as at least 17 raids were carried out across Moscow.
Men and women were arrested and hundreds of fake passports, registration cards, credit cards and medical documents were seized.
The FSB believe it has smashed a major route to feed ISIS forces with raw "cannon fodder" recruits who may not understand the dangers.
They are accused of recruiting in Russia and sending people to fight in Syria and Iraq, using women as “couriers”.
