"This is a war okay. And I know as Democrats we love to say Kumbaya and reach out to everybody. We can do that after we win."
Billionaire environmentalist and Democratic donor Tom Steyer held his first of 30 town halls, which are part of his orchestrated impeachment campaign against President Trump, in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday and was joined by Dr. John Gartner, who made some fairly outlandish comments.
Dr. Gartner founded Duty To Warn, “an association of mental health professionals and other concerned citizens who advocate Trump’s removal under the 25th Amendment on the grounds that he is psychologically unfit,” joined Steyer at the town hall.
During the course of the town hall, Gartner compared Steyer’s impeachment campaign against Trump to war and said that Trump was a “nasty son of a bitch,” “the face of evil,” and the “antichrist.”
“Energize the people who already get it, okay, and get them to vote and get them to get other people to vote, and get them to organize, and get them to go to swing districts that they might not even live in to participate in campaigns of candidates who could flip a seat,” Gartner said. “This is a war, okay? And I know as Democrats we love to say Kumbaya and reach out to everybody. We can do that after we win.”
The audience and Steyer laughed at these remarks by Gartner.
Earlier in the town hall Gartner said that Trump was, “a nasty son of a bitch,” and “a human monster.”
“Look, I am just going to put it right on the line here, put it right on the table. We are staring into the face of evil,” Gartner said. “I am Jewish, but I think I am starting to believe in the antichrist.”
