Shocking footage has emerged of a woman flinging a small child into a ditch during an argument in the middle of a street.
An onlooker films the three women, who become involved in a scuffle before one of the group grabs the arm of the crying youngster.
The child desperately tries to resist the woman's grip before being dragged along by the arms and thrown into the nearby stream.
Another woman appears to try and pull the child away, however no real attempt is made to stop the child from being chucked into the water.
It is not clear exactly where the incident took place, however it is believed to be in China.
