Brooklyn, Ohio -- A man accused of dragging a Brooklyn police officer with his car following a traffic stop Thursday has been arrested, authorities said.
Jose A. Camacho was arrested by Cleveland police about 9:30 p.m., Brooklyn police said in a news release.
Camacho, 33, was wanted for assault after he drove away from a traffic stop on Ridge Road near Hammond Avenue while the officer was trapped inside the driver's side of the vehicle, police said.
Officials did not provide additional details about the incident. The officer was taken to MetroHealth Hospital for a dislocated shoulder. He was later released.
