A man has been caught on camera taking his two dogs for a walk, by trying one of them to his car by the lead and driving off.
The dog desperately tries to keep up, while his pal who is not attached, runs alongside.
The man was also spotted throwing one of the dogs on to the floor when it wouldn't get out of the car, and kneeing the other pooch.
The video, one of two recorded and uploaded to Facebook by Desiree Nicole, was later passed to authorities.
It was filmed in Lancaster in California on Saturday and Desiree said she was shocked at what she saw.
She wrote: "Once I caught up to him and told him his dog was simply not able to keep up and he was dragging her he became very vulgar and aggressive.
