Shocking footage shows an alleged drink-driver speeding away from a traffic stop with the policewoman still hanging through the motorist's window.
The woman was "dragged for miles", as seen in footage filmed by a passenger on a following motorbike in Ecuador, south America.
Director of the Ecuadorian Transit Commission Jose Galvez said: "This is the kind of situation our uniformed officers encounter on a daily basis."
According to the official, the traffic cop was "dragged for miles" at an unspecified coastal area of the country.
Galvez confirmed that an investigation has been launched and vowed to track down the motorist who drove off with a cop hanging out of the car window.
