A new missile believed to be capable of hitting a US territory has been shown off by China in a grand military parade.
The warheads - thought to be capable of firing around 2,000 miles - could potentially take out large aircraft carriers and even hit the US territory of Guam in the Pacific Ocean.
The "Guam Killer" nuclear missiles could pose a threat for more than 162,000 Micronesian people who call the island home.
Although the Chinese government is not confirming which model of the missile it owns, reporters claimed they were DF-26, which can travel at supersonic speeds.
According to CCTV the country's state broadcaster the missile has been designed, developed and built by Chinese engineers and was commissioned to the People's Liberation Army's Rocket Force.
