A teenager left with two black eyes after being tackled by a boxer short-wearing investment banker when he broke into two Mercedes cars has been jailed.
Leon de Silva smashed the windows of two identical A200 cars outside the luxury home of Stephen Canny and his girlfriend in Chelsea, west London.
Mr Canny, 33, dashed outside when he heard the cars being broken into and wrestled the 19-year-old to the ground.
The city worker was watching TV with his girlfriend when they heard thieves smash the back windows of their cars.
He shouted "you picked the wrong car" at de Silva after the teen, clad in full motorbike gear, had smashed the windows of their identical A200 cars.
As he wrestled de Silva to the ground the former amateur rugby player and executive director for Volcap Trading, was shouting "you ain't going nowhere mate. You must be stupid".
