An elderly woman has been pulled alive from the wreckage of her home seven hours after it was decimated in a gas explosion.
The 80-year-old woman was buried under a mountain of stone with distraught rescuers working continuously to get to her.
Firemen couldn't hold back their joy as the pensioner was eventually freed following an explosion which brought the property down "like a pack of cards".
Sniffer dogs helped to locate the woman who miraculously survived under the rubble.
She was pulled from the wreckage at 6am this morning after firemen had been on the scene since 11pm last night.
