Amazing moment HGVs form line under bridge to stop man threatening to jump 'by reducing distance to ground'

Heartwarming video shows more than a dozen HGV drivers join forces in order to prevent a man jumping from a bridge.



The man was threatening to leap from the overpass in northern Detroit, USA, prompting police to close the road below.



But as the operation progressed, lorry drivers did their bit to help by pulling up beneath him, meaning he would not fall as far if he jumped.



Officials later confirmed that Michigan State Police had overseen the operation, and that it is not unusual for truckers to help out - although there aren't usually so many.
