Horrifying footage shows cargo plane nose dive into ground before bursting into flames as five confirmed dead

The horrifying moment a cargo plane hurtled towards the ground before bursting into flames was captured by a surveillance camera.



At least five people died this afternoon after a C-130 military aircraft crashed shortly after taking off from an airport in Savannah, Georgia, United States.



Scott Cohen posted footage of the incident on Twitter, with the caption: "Prayers go out to the families of all on board the plane that crashed in Garden City today. Captured from my business’ surveillance cameras."



The video shows a plane falling almost vertically from the sky before plumes of black smoke and flames billow from the point of impact.



The plane was reportedly on a training mission when it came down.
