This is the terrifying moment a driver was thrown out of an Audi sports car as it demolished a wall in a horror crash.
A CCTV camera caught the moment of impact - and shows the car travelling at high speed before it smashed into the brickwork.
The car door can be seen swinging open at the moment of impact - as the car left a trail of destruction in its wake.
Stunned residents could also be seen in the footage rushing from their houses to help seconds after the crash - as a tyre from the wrecked vehicle circled past them down the road.
West Midlands Police said the car had been travelling at "excessive speeds" - and the car was believed to have been stolen from a burglary in the Derbyshire area earlier that evening.
The crash scene was sealed off for several hours after the driver of an Quattro TT lost control in Walsall at around 9pm on Monday, Birmingham Live reports.
The 37-year-old driver was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not thought to be serious.
