This video shows the final moments of a young jogger before he was killed by a teenage joyrider.
William Dorey, 18, is seen happily running across the coast just minutes before reckless Joshua Cherukara and Harry Cable began zooming down Whitley Bay.
Cherukara was driving a Renault Megane when it lost control and mounted the pavement, crashing straight into William and left him with catastrophic injuries.
Footage shared by Northumbria Police officers shows that, in the moments before the crash on May 7 last year.
CCTV captures the moment, at around 10pm, that Cherukara lost control of his vehicle and collided with Willliam Dorey.
His friend, Harry Cable, who passed his driving test just days before the crash, was in a Vauxhall Corsa.
