Police are investigating the attempted abduction of a toddler by the Filipino women who were pretending to be missionaries, it is claimed.
CCTV footage captured the shocking incident in the small town of Palmares, located in the northern Costa Rica province of Alajuela.
A spokesperson for the Judicial Investigation Department (OIJ) said that local authorities have launched an investigation into the alleged kidnapping attempt after viewing the amusement arcade's CCTV footage.
