Dozens of neighbours chased down a suspected burglar and blocked escape routes "like the A-Team" during a dramatic capture before police arrived.
A witness said about 50 locals came out of their homes and "jumped into action" after an alleged burglar was found in a rear garden.
The suspect jumped over a fence in a bid to flee but was apprehended by the mob and held for police, who hailed the response of locals in Walsall, West Midlands.
Footage recorded by a witness shows neighbours and police surrounding a man, with one local shouting "I think we've got him", Birmingham Live reports.
