Exactly 75 years after his part in the legendary mission, the last surviving British Dambuster airman has flown in a Lancaster Bomber once more.
Now aged 96, George "Johnny" Johnson cruised in the cockpit of the heavyweight World War Two plane on Thursday.
He was flown by Tim Dunlop, bomber leader on the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and enjoyed spectacular lake and countryside views as the sun rose.
The camera turns to Johnny, in the cockpit, who seems to be enjoying the special moment.
The flight marked 75 years since RAF 617 Squadron attacked German dams using a purpose built 'bouncing bomb' on May 16-17 1943.
