Tens of thousands of people were ordered to evacuate their homes near the municipality of Ituango in the northwest of Colombia on Wednesday, following warnings of further flooding of the Cauca river.
The flooding has demolished 63 houses, a clinic, two schools and two bridges, and has left an estimated 600 people homeless.
