Dramatic footage shows the moment paragliders came just 90ft from disaster after a navy jet shot past at 345mph.
The Royal Navy Hawk T1 flew so close to the group of four paragliders, one of the shocked pilots said he could feel the heat from the plane's engine.
After the near miss, an investigation revealed there was a "serious" risk of collision, and blamed the incident on "a non-sighting by the Hawk pilot".
An official from the paragliding club said it was "the most serious incident of its type that the club has ever known".
