A shocking video has revealed a man cowering in his car as it is surrounded by a group of thugs armed with a hammer.
The footage, which was filmed in Birmingham, shows several men gathering around a silver Hyundai in broad daylight.
One thug is shown standing on the backseats of the car as the man attempts to drive away.
The scene is then hidden by a cloud of smoke as the men shout at each other.
A single hammer can be seen in the middle of the road after the car manages to flee the scene.
The men can be heard shouting "jump out, jump out" as they try to stop the car from escaping, Birmingham Live reported.
