A mysterious nine-foot long black sarcophagus has finally been opened in Egypt despite warnings that it could be cursed.
Researchers found three decomposed mummies when they opened the 2,000 year old coffin.
The bodies were lying in rancid sewer water in the black granite coffin which is the largest ever found in Alexandria.
It was discovered earlier this month and many worried it might be cursed.
When King Tutankhamun's tomb was opened in 1922, a number of people connected with the discovery subsequently died sparking rumours of a curse.
