The shocking levels of Spice-use at a prison where naked inmates were filmed "fighting like dogs" has been revealed.
Some 31.4% of inmates at the "dangerous" HMR Northumberland make use of psychoactive drugs such as Spice, according to Chronicle Live .
Those taking drugs such a cocaine and cannabis account for 17.1%, considerably more than the average 10.6%. across UK prisons.
The Acklington-based prison made the headlines last month when outrageous videos of apparently Spice-fuelled inmates “fighting like dogs ” came to light.
A second damning video from the same prison showed one of the inmates struggling to control himself while seemingly high on the synthetic durg.
